EKOSCAN CREATES INTACT WITH ALIAD
29 JANUARY 2021

INTꓥCT, EKOSCAN’s newly created Advanced NDT and Mechanical Integrity subsidiary, is pleased to announce that AIR LIQUIDE has acquired a minority stake in its capital through ALIAD, its venture capital arm.

The ambition of the 2 partners is to develop together the best technologies and best practices for the inspection, monitoring and predictability of the health of industrial equipment, for the benefit of the whole industry.

Building on the technological breakthroughs to which it has contributed, EKOSCAN created INTꓥCT at the end of 2020.

In cooperation with EKOSCAN (a recognised manufacturer of state-of-the-art ultrasonic NDT equipment), and EXTENDE (the world leader in NDT simulation), and AIR LIQUIDE, INTꓥCT offers its customers tailor-made solutions to meet the most demanding needs in non-destructive testing, custom engineering, mechanical integrity and structural health monitoring.

Commenting on this new partnership, Hugo Cence, President of EKOSCAN, said “AIR LIQUIDE has placed its trust in us throughout the last four years. Today, together we are taking a step forward to continue developing solutions, designing, inspecting and managing asset integrity through connected technologies. I am convinced that all our customers will benefit from this partnership as we strengthen innovation and advanced technologies, operational stability, safety and profitability. I would like to personally thank our partner ALIAD for all the efforts made to finalise this agreement.”

Matthieu Eyriès, ALIAD Managing Director, said:
“This partnership resonates with the Air Liquide Group’s ambition to leverage technologies to master both asset integrity and industrial process safety. INTꓥCT will bring innovative solutions to continuously improve the predictive maintenance of our sites and those of our customers.”
